Re-Entry is the eighth full body of work produced by the crate-digging ATL producer Daily Bread (Rhett Whatley). Re-Entry represents a homecoming to Earth after an expansive journey through space and is the companion to Daily Bread’s Navigator, Standby LP, released to much acclaim on May 2, 2019. What goes up, must come down.
Re-Entry is comprised of six all-new tracks that showcase Daily Bread’s continual evolution as an artist. Each song is inspired and accompanied by a personal tale of Rhett’s experiences creating music amid extensive touring through detailed album liner notes. Stories, sources of inspiration, and insights into the production are offered to the reader for each.
The artwork for Re-Entry features historical artwork and photography courtesy of NASA. In 1962, NASA administrator James E. Webb invited a group of artists to illustrate and interpret the agency’s upcoming missions and projects, including the Apollo moon missions of the late 60s/early 70s. Several of these illustrations were created by North American Rockwell, the prime contractor for the Apollo Command and Service modules. These images are incorporated throughout the vinyl artwork.
Re-Entry is available now on all outlets!
